Blumengasse 64, 1170 Vienna
Client: Lichtblau / Spindler Architects ZT-OG
Development Period: 6/2012 to 9/2013
In the 17th district of Vienna, a residential house was built adjoining to existing buildings. The structure comprises a ground-plan area of 24 m x 20 m, six floors and one basement floor. The depth below surface is 4 m.
The foundation was done by means of a bottom slab.
The planer has entrusted BGG Consult with the elaboration of a geotechnical expert's report, including the subsoil explorations. These explorations comprised a core drilling with development into a well, three dynamic probings and a pumping test in the well. Furthermore, soil physical laboratory analyses, soil chemical analyses and ground water analyses were carried out.
One-stop Soil Expertise:
The commissioning included, besides the geotechnical expertise, the subsoil exploration works as well as the laboratory analyses. Therefore, BGG Consult has been responsible for the handling of the various services of the subcontractors. Thus, the client was relieved of extensive administrative efforts.
Because of our intensive business connections with numerous drilling companies, earthwork contractors and laboratories, the services regarding the subsoil could be processed in a cost-efficient way and as fast as possible.
